About The JobCompany and Position Overview: A privately held, family owned, faith-based, growth-oriented, and customer focused foodservice distribution company based in Hammond Louisiana.
The position will report to the Owner / CEO and have a seat as a member of the Leadership Team. It will play a key role in leading, developing, managing, monitoring and helping to evaluate the overall corporate and financial strategy in collaboration with the CEO and the other members of the Leadership Team.
This position will provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy as well as leading a team of associates.
The CFO must build credibility and be viewed as a trusted business advisor by the Leadership Team as well as serving as the company's primary relationship manager to our banking institutions, insurance companies, and accounting firms.
The CFO will support the Leadership Team with key financial information and operational analysis, and drive an improved culture of accountability, internal controls, and relevant business processes to help manage our growing business and add P&L value within our operating areas.
We seek an outstanding candidate with demonstrated leadership experience and a professional track record of exceptional performance in key executive financial positions - ideally with experience within the Foodservice Distribution industry.
RequirementsEducation to include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a respected business school with a preference for an MBA and/or a Masters in Accounting.
5 plus years of corporate experience in leadership roles in finance, accounting or roles outside of finance.
CPA license.
CPA license is preferred; but not required. Should have experience at least at the Controller level and ideally at the CFO level with direct banking relationship management experience - specifically with Treasury and cash management.
M & A experience.
